As we enter the final push towards the end of the school year, it is incredible to think how much has changed since September. We certainly did not expect to have 2020 be the year of such significant challenges and uncertainty that we are all experiencing today. With the COVID-19 outbreak, our daily lives have changed dramatically. Yet as with any crisis, there are always the heroes – those who are selfless in their approach and their willingness to help others. Thank you to all our parents and extended IC family members out there on the front lines: healthcare workers, first responders, teachers, food service workers – anyone working to make a difference during this crisis. Your efforts are appreciated and applauded especially as you provide so much for your children as well.
As the current pandemic continues to impact our world and community, it is anything but business as usual. These are extraordinary times, but at the Immaculate Conception School we are determined to adapt and move forward. In that vein, we would like to invite you to join us for our first-ever virtual “Springtime in Paris” Auction.
The Spring Auction Event is one of our school’s major fundraisers, and our students still need your support. Despite the physical campus being closed, there continue to be operating expenses including building and ground maintenance, staff education and training, as well as tuition assistance for families in need. Proceeds from the auction will go towards these needs. Additionally, so many of our parents have put great time and effort into creating beautiful class baskets and student art projects that will be shared with the community. At a time when lives and routines have been disrupted, leaving us frustrated, disappointed, and scared, we are so fortunate to have the IC community to connect and support us. Let’s come together to care for our students and our community.
